After falling in love with the concept by Yang Qi917 here on artstation the model itself took about 2 months. I began working full time half way through this project, so only late nights at weekends were available to tidy up and finish the project, but slowly it came together.
The specs. It comes in at 70k for the body and head, and another 70 k for all the hair. So 140k in all. I could have reduced the hair further but for my portfolio it seemed adequate. The maps are two 4k texture sets. One skin and one clothing, and then another for hair with a duplicate albedo for white hair or red. The eyes and inner mouth I kept in the skin texture set, but used a few more shaders to create the looks I needed in marmoset.
I learnt a lot through this one, as always, and feel again I raised the bar on my own work. It was great fun! So much hair!
